Tasting note:

The vines for this Pinot grew in clay soil. I love the seam of acidity that runs right through the fleshy heart of this wine: It’s like the shudder that runs down your back with a soft caress. Redolent of ripe cherries, strawberries, fresh-turned earth and violets. A romantic dinner will never be the same if you crack this one open. I’ve also reviewed the 1500 ml magnum size for this wine in this release. Food matches: meatloaf, hamburgers, grilled steak, fried chicken, pizza, mild curries.
