Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: 2004 was an exceptional vintage for Barbarescos. This highly aromatic Nebbiolo features aromas of black cherry, mulberry, raspberry and earth. Dry and fairly fruity with well-defined, but not over-dominating tannins. This structured wine will easily reward 4-6 years in a cellar, but it can also work tonight, decanted. My note: Tarry black cherries and dark spices. Long luscious layers of flavor, good balance and nice length. Food matches: rare roast beef, lamb.
