Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: This ruby-colored Grenache displays wild raspberry and blackberry, with notes of scorched earth and licorice spice. A consistently high quality wine. My note: A bold fruit-forward wine laced with notes of black plum, kirsch, cranberry and anise. This voluptuous, full-bodied red was made from vines that were dry grown (not irrigated) and the resulting flavor concentration shows. It actually doesn’t taste as alcoholic as it is because of its fine balance. Screwcap. Food matches: roast beef, shepherds pie, stew, herb-rubbed chicken, mincemeat, petit provencal cheese.
