Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: In 1997, Michael Kacaba saved prime vineyard property from vanishing under a developer’s bulldozer. In the 14 years since, his environmentally sustainable winery has produced a broad range of award-winning wines. Lovely black fruit, cedar and pepper notes on the nose and the palate. Dry and medium-full bodied with great structure and beautifully integrated tannins and a long fruit laden finish. Enjoy this with an early jump on BBQ season. My note: A robust, tannic red with tasty dark red fruit aromas. Perfect for big meat dishes… maybe a brontosaurus burger. Food matches: gourmet burgers, grilled juicy steak.
