Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Jane Staples rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An understated white, with subtle fragrances of ripe peach and melon, echoed on palate with a whisper of minerality. Medium-bodied and versatile, excellent with French cheeses from the Northern Rhine Valley.
This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2012 Concours des Grand Vins de France in Macon. Pinot Blanc is often recommended for those looking for an alternative to Chardonnay, because its aroma and flavour profile may be different, but its weight is similar to Chard. This one is true to form. It features honeydew melon, green apple, chamomile tea and pear aromas. Dry and impressively built. The heft of Chardonnay is definitely there, but with a completely new taste sensation. Full-bodied & Rich. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Aug. 2012
