Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Genshu sakes are some of the driest because, unlike most other styles, they are not diluted with water and therefore are bottled at their higher alcohol content – in this case 17% alc./vol. This technique can increase the perception of dryness. There is a lovely fruitiness to this crystal-clear sake. Aromas suggest pear and apple, plus a hint of apricot and even a touch of caramel. There is lots of fruitiness on the palate too, but it is also quite dry. The finish is long and elegant. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
