Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: This innovative sparkling Icewine won a Gold Medal at the 2009 Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards. Inniskillin may not have invented Sparkling Icewine, but they certainly have run with the idea. It displays all the virtues of their still Icewines, but the CO2 bubbles seem to have the effect of adding a touch of intriguing dryness to this generally very sweet wine. As a result, it is an excellent partner for pâté, or great for sipping after a holiday meal. My note: A strange and lovely hybrid of sweet and sparkling. Notes of fleshy apricot preserves and honeyed peaches.
