Petrol and peach: love it! Don't be put off if you haven't heard that description before; it's wonderful, especially for food. Terrific mouth-watering acidity makes it a match for seafood, salads and cream sauces. Wonderful!

very interesting Riesling from our own Ontario winery.
Pale straw color with watery rim. Small bubbles on the bottom of the glass.
Nose is fulfilled with peach aromas, apple and floral notes.
On the palate dry, medium body, good fresh acidity, with flavors of green apples, grapefruit, minerality and little spiciness from ginger.

Brilliant pale gold with green hue. Declared 11.5% ABV. Tasted the 2010 vintage in Feb 2017. Strikingly Crisp and mouthwatering high acidity, great minerality, tart green apple and citrus zest persistence. Enjoy soon. Aromatics have just peaked. Paired well with fried calamari and is easily enjoyable on it's own. Rated 90/100. A great example of cool climate Niagara Peninsula dry Riesling at an accessible price point. Enjoy.

The 2010 Inniskillin Winemaker’s Series Two Vineyards Riesling is a light bodied wine, with nice aromas of citrus fruit and faint pear on the nose and wine lees on the palate together with a slight fizz. It has a crisp acidity, soft tannins, nice minerality and a medium finish. Very food friendly, drink now or hold for couple of years. Rated 88 pts. Tasted July/12.

Petrol on the nose made this wine a winner from the gate. The minerality on the palate is present, not as much as I had expected per the petrol nose, but it is still there (and this is not a bad thing)! The wine was delicious with classic Niagara Riesling characteristics in lemon, lime, peach, pear.. oh my! The further you dig into the wine the more appealing the flavour profile becomes as you find notes of honeysuckle that really do work to compliment the minerality that sneaks into each sip. I really enjoyed this wine, job well done!

Screw cap. Fresh mineral, lemon, pear aromas, along with hints of honey and petrol. Tangy with grapefruit and lemon-lime zesty acidity, mineral, leads to an off-dry, bumpy finish that bounces between honey and slate notes. Tasted July 2012.

The faint whiff of lemon and pear did not prepare my mouth for the shock of this riesling's acidity. I found it overly effervescent in the glass which leads me to believe it may have been bottled too early. The colour and nose were right, but found it overly herbaceous and lacking in maturity. That said, a few drops of creme de cassis and it made the most amazing Kir! That touch of sweetness toned down the gasoline notes and reveled the fruit.

slight petrol (love that about riesling!) & tropical fruit aromas transform into citrus/lemon/lime, petrol finishing with a mineral spritz & refreshing acidity. 11.5% ABV

Brilliant pale gold, this tasty wine offers alluring floral, mineral and citrus notes with a defining whiff of petrol. Dry, light-mid weight, it’s vibrant and tangy with a hint of spritz dancing across the palate. Lemon-lime, white peach, crisp green apple and pithy notes make for a fresh, lively finish. Pair it with a soft ripened bloomy rind cheese in the style of Brie or Camembert.

From a warm vintage in Ontario comes this juicy Riesling. Plenty of ripe pear, lime zest, apple blossom, clover honey and mineral. Dry, with a kiss of sweetness balanced by a rush of crisp acidity. Deliciously refreshing. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
