Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

A vivacious white, with refreshing notes of peach and pear. The pinot gris adds lift and brightness to the creaminess of the chardonnay. Not too heavy; just right. Satisfy your thirst. Food matches: crab ravioli, creamy bacon carbonara.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Anne Ellenberger rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

wine festival good value need to buy
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2011 vintage. Very smooth with apple, pear, citrus notes, mingling with peach aromas and flavours. Some earthy notes. Medium bodied wine with a medium-length finish that would make a very good appetizer wine. Yummy. Tasted May/2012.
The Gamble 2009 Chardonnay Pinot Gris is sourced from premium cool climate regions in South Australia. The fruit is gently pressed and handled, leading to a slightly fuller bodied and flavoursome wine. The peachy and creamy flavours of the Chardonnay add to the pear, green apple and minerality of the Pinot Gris.
