Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Glenda rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Chenin Blanc is also known as Steen in South Africa where more of this variety is produced than even The Loire Valley in France. It is used for everything from generic, dry, white wines to age-worthy, premium wines to ambitious, sweet wines to brandy.
Graham Beck's Bowed Head Chenin Blance is one of the best expressions of this cultivar.
This is a complex, delicious, barrel fermented wine. It has the aging potential of about 10 years. The average age of the vines from which the fruit was harvested is 40 years.
2009 big-league player is an exercise in fruit concentration, tinged with botrytis-like dried apricots. Weighty, full & rich, from Agter-Paarl fruit, barrel fermented/8mths, 30% new oak. Should blossom further with time. Score: 4 ½ (out of 5) Source: Greg de Bruyn, Platter's South African Wine Guide
