Gnarly Head old vine Zinfandel is my go to wine. It's a great wine to bring to a party or to give as a thnak you gift.It is rich and creamy with soft tannins and a smooth finish. It has flavors of dark fruits with hints of pepper and vanilla.

Ya, it was alright with filet,mushrooms,asparagus, and small potatoes...Tom & Lisa...not a spectacular Zin and not a Shiraz.
Cool, bright aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry backed by a floral, minty note. This generous wine, perfect for the dinner table, is readily available. Source: Lynne Char Bennett, sfgate.com
