Tasting note:

Rich with kirsch and black raspberry liqueur resonances. Cedary underbrush shore up the backbone. Tannins are smooth and silky. Warm and deep and full-bodied. Blueberry jam finish. Food matches: meat lovers pizza.

Nose: All I smell is kirsch / cherries, almost like a light light port
Colour: garnet?
Palate: Not my favourite! Tastes like...cherries, blackberries, blueberries, with some mint and cedar underneath, however the tannins are too low, I find this almost a light bodied wine, with no finish. I can see why merlot is more herbaceous than other varietals - picking up some greenery and mint here. Not complex. I would not buy this again.
