Tasting note:

Earthy with tart cherries and mouth-watering acidity. Not tannic, great food wine. Packed with blackberries and black cherries with some spices on the finish. Bring it on! Food matches: pizza, pasta with tomato-based sauces, meat dishes.

Fruity, fat, juicy and delicately spicy with great acidity. The 2009 displays ripe fruit with the ever present bitter chocolate and cherry fruit with a lovely plummy, low taanin mouthfeel.
