Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: An excellent value, this red is a blend of local grape varieties, namely Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Castelão. It uses grapes grown along the alluvial Sado River, famed as a habitat for river dolphins. You can use your ‘bottle nose’ to appreciate the unique qualities the territory imparts to this exotic, plum- and coffee-scented wine. My note: A smooth, lovely textured red with plum fruit notes. A medium- to full-bodied red. Food matches: black bean and avocado salad.
