Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: As this wine shows, the Robertson sub-appellation of Eliandia and the Ward attached to the cool-climate Walker Bay, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, are making remarkable advances with the finicky Pinot Noir. This version from the Newton Johnson family features classic cherry, earth and vanilla aromas and flavours. Dry, fruity and very clean with just a hint of tannin. This is a good choice if you want to enjoy a red wine with fish. My note: Gorgeous wine for the money. Big mouth-watering acidity with tart cherries, but I love it! Supple and medium-bodied and a spicy finish. Can’t believe they priced it this low. Food matches: lamb stew, fish.
