Medium-light golden yellow; attractive, intense, buttery, melon and green apple aroma with floral, citrusy notes and hints of vanilla, roasted hazelnut, and honeysuckle; medium-full to full body; crisp, citrus and baked apple flavors with undertones of toasty oak and minerality; lingering aftertaste. Should continue to develop with another year or two of bottle aging. Very highly recommended. 14.3% alcohol; 100% barrel fermentation; 0% malolactic fermentation; released November 2011.
