Lovely richness and depth with dark, savoury black fruit, spices and smoke. I love this style as it offers so much more than just ripe fruit. Lovely length and a satin smooth texture. Yum! Made from the red grape Alentejano. Food matches: steak, lamb.

The 2004 Touriga Franca is dark ruby in color with a fruity nose of black raspberries, a sweet lush attack of spicy mulberry and cranberry fruit, and a long finish. Score: 88 JY
