Tasting note:

A blackberry-rich, menthol nose with a lovely river of black fruit flavour. Full-bodied and smooth. This is an absolutely wonderful wine for the money, especially if it’s someone else’s money. A long finish.

Blackberry, black raspberry and welsh cake flavours dominate this wine. Black pepper wrapped around the linzer torte core. I'm 89 on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Opaque ruby. Sexy, expressive aromas of blackberry, fruitcake and rose, lifted by a peppery quality. Juicy, faintly jammy dark fruit flavours are nicely concentrated and focused, showing a seamless texture and no obvious tannins.
