Tasting note:

Delicious and over-priced. Mocha with dark fruit and luscious layers of black plums and dark spices. If budget isn't an issue, buy a case! Food matches: prime rib, filet mignon.

This deep and complex Cab is built for the long haul, and is just now starting to open up and hint at its full potential. Bright, deep ruby-red. Reticent aromas of cassis, dark raspberry, leather ... Supple on entry, then a bit peppery and dry in the middle; has texture and flavor intensity but this is very backward and unyielding for this cuvee. Finishes with drying, rather clenched tannins but no heaviness. This will require patience... Score: 91(+?) Source: Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar
