Vintages Wine Panel: Dromana Estate helped cement Mornington Peninsula’s reputation as a quality wine region by specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Their Mornington Estate version is made in a fresh, vibrant, drink-now style. Look for fragrant cherry and strawberry aromas as well as notes of spice and earth on the nose. This dry, brightly fruity, medium-bodied wine has a silky texture and a long finish. My note: A juicy, mouth-watering red with fleshy ripe cherries, cranberries and pomegranates. Silky, supple and seductive with layers and layers of flavor and a finish that goes on and on. Screwcap. Food matches: cold cuts, pecan stuffing, veal marsala, peking duck, dark chocolate.
