Domaine Michel-Andreotti Montagny 1Er Cru Chardonnay 2006
Tasting note:
Vintages Wine Panel: Springtime in a glass. Aromas suggest apple blossoms and then the apples themselves. On top of that, there are lovely ginger, lime and mineral tones. A fresh, lively and well-made Chardonnay from the southern reaches of Burgundy. My note: Lovely aromas of lemongrass, green apples and hazelnut. Fresh with a wonderful core of lime essence. Medium- to full-bodied with a long finish. Food matches: spring/summer salads, grilled pork chops with apple sauce.
