Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Tavel, in the Southern Rhône, is famous for its lively, flavourful rosés; in fact, this is the only wine style made in the region. These wines were favoured by Louis XIV, and continue to impress today. This ripe, Grenache-centered blend is bursting with attractive red berry fruit, spicy garrigue, and a hint of cranberry, further enlivened by tangy acidity. My note: I buy this wine by the case every year it comes out. Bone-dry and refreshing with aromas of field raspberries and happiness. Mouth-watering and perfect. Food matches: gourmet sausages, grilled pork chops, barbecued chicken legs.
