Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Translucent ruby in the glass. The nose offers immediate notes of dark cherry followed by beetroot, earth and floral. The palate is dry, with a lively acidity, great fruit intensity throughout, and a balancing oak character that keeps the whole package deliciously in sync. My note: Alluring aromas of black cherry, violet and truffle on the nose, tart red fruit on the palate. Medium-bodied and smooth. A lovely wine for the money. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Food matches: smoked duck, coq au vin.
