Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: It is always fun, not to mention very satisfying, to find a wine that punches well above its price point. So stand back – this wine is throwing haymakers. It comes out swinging with impressive notes of blackberry, dark cherry, tobacco, sweet plum, cassis and spice on the nose. The medium-bodied palate keeps on scoring with rapid-fire combinations of dark fruit, herbal, chocolate and pepper tones. Excellent balance and structure, leading to a long finish. My note: Love it! Reminds me of tart black raspberries growing wild in the heart of a cedary forest. A pleasant bitterness that keeps you coming back to the glass rather than satiating after a glass… or three. Full-bodied and smooth with luxurious depths of pleasure. Food matches: blackened beef.
