One of the ten crus of Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent produces wines of superior concentration, quality and longevity from the Gamay grape. Indeed, as they age, wines from this area tend to show the elegance of Burgundian Pinot Noir. This example offers rich aromas of mulberry and strawberry with lifted floral tones. The palate is dry, medium bodied, with more berry and floral expressions and somewhat forward tannins, and a nicely balanced finish.
