Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Gold Medal winner at the 2010 Concours des Vins de Chablis. All the elements in the 2008 vintage conspired to create great white wines, such as this Chablis from Domaine de la Tour. Look for classic aromas and flavours of green apple, chalky minerals, pear and citrus. An ageable wine (3-5+ years). My note: Unoaked chardonnay, this is refreshing and pure with green apple notes and mouth-watering acidity. This is not rich and buttery like New World chardonnays in any sense. Very austere with subtle flavours. Don’t over-chill or you won’t smell anything. Food matches: bouillabaisse.
