Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: The Minervois is one of the most ancient vineyards of the Mediterranean region, chosen by the Romans for the site of some of the first vines they planted in Languedoc Roussillon. Château de Gourgazaud itself was one of the pioneers of quality wine production from the Minervois. This Cabernet Sauvignon shows great varietal typicity, with a robust tannic presence that is kept in balance by complex and layered black cherry, cassis and cedary notes. Ideal for roast meat dishes or gourmet burgers. My note: Simple and delicious with big purple plums. It’s got a tannic grip but 2 hours of decanting with help. Full-bodied. Perfect for parties. Food matches: roast meat dishes, gourmet burgers.
