Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Garrigue is the fragrance of lavender, rosemary, sage, thyme and lemon verbena—the scent that pervades the air of the Midi and Provence and is sometimes expressed in the aromas and flavors of its better wines. My note: Michel Chapoutier is more famous for his Rhone wines but this one from southern France is terrific. Beautifully concentrated with extracted black cherry liqueur aromas followed by smoke and anise that make this a tasty number. Love the Braille label. Food matches: steak and kidney pie, cassoulet, lamb chops.
