Tasting note:

Not for the timid: this wine explodes with concentrated dark fruit aromas and flavors. Notes of black cherry liqueur, blackberries, fig paste, cocoa and anise. A tightly woven wine with a towering structure and long length on the finish. This is why I love the Rhone Valley. Food matches: pasta with a carbonara sauce, leg of lamb, pheasant, tourtiere, nmature hard cheeses, cranberry sauce.
