Usually for this kind of dish we go with a Riesling or Gewurztraminer but we picked something special for the Jamaican food we wanted to have ... curried goat and oxtail ... it was going to be spicy and we wanted to try something different.

This Chilean Voignier was pale gold in colour and filled with tropical fruit aromas and was dry and medium bodied. The acidity was good and the flavours that came through for me were grapefruit, green apple and pineapple.

And yes, the sweetness was such that it matched perfectly with this spicy dish of curried goat and oxtail!
