Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

This delightful bubbly is a blend of Chardonnay 90%, Pinot Noir 6% and Riesling 4%. Lovely aromas of green apples with a toasty, creamy texture. Simply stunning for the money. Great aperitif. Stock up for all your celebrations and parties with this one. Food matches: scallops, pan seared calamari and pastas in light cream sauces.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A bit of Riesling in the mix gives this bubbly a delicate profile with mineral, honey, lemon on the nose and a crisp, bitter finish. The mousse is very lively in the glass but then mellows on the palate. Fairly well balanced and a great warm afternoon sipping wine, if you're feeling fancy.
Cono Sur Sparkling is lively and
radiant. Its aromas reveal great
fruit expression mingled with citrus
notes, white fl owers and a hint
of honey. Juicy and fresh, Cono
Sur Sparkling is delicate and wellbalanced
with great complexity.

Serve this wine between 45-50 degrees Farenheit or 6-10 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
