Tasting note:

This single-vineyard wine received a score of 95 points in Wine & Spirits magazine. Honkin’ big juicy black fruited wonder. Smooth and did I mention, it’s full-bodied? Black licorice and some smoke but mostly blackberry jam.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The 2007 Concha Y Toro Terrunyo Block 27 Carmenère is a medium to full bodied wine, with intensely aromatic notes of integrated chocolate, green pepper and oak on the nose and blackberry, coconut and vanilla on the palate. It is nicely structured/balanced with refined tannins (decanting for 1+ hour, while sampling, will allow for evolution in the mouth to happen) and long and smooth finish. While perfectly good to drink now, it will enormously benefit from further aging, try from 2013 to 2018. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 92.5 - would recommend buying it if it was still available; curiously(?!?) it took less than 2 months for it to sell out - must be due to the nice wooden 6-bottle case, rarely seen supplied with wines at this price. Tasted Oct/11.
Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

On the nose - beautiful! Violets. Lots of blackberries, prunes, cassis, blue berries. On the palate, full body. Ready to drink now and in the next 2-5 years. Meaty. Chewy. juicy-concentrated flavors of dark sweet berries. Balanced acidity. Hints of mint on the long pleasant finish. Very rewarding wine.
Big, stout and solid, with a smoky, pure-fruit nose that’s very attractive. Lush and full in the mouth, with pure, deep, intoxicating flavors of blackberry, black currant and Mediterranean black olive. Solid throughout and holds its form across the finish. Ripe, smooth and delicious. Drink now thru 2012. Score: 92 Source: Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast
