Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Pinot Noir appears to love the cooler climate of Tasmania. Made with fruit grown in the Tamar Valley (nearest to the island’s north coast), this Pinot saw the inside of French oak barriques for 12 months. Intriguing wild berry aromas pique the senses, while concentrated flavors of cherry, mulberry and spice combine with a velvety mouth-feel to give the palate a great deal to ponder and enjoy. Cellar for 2-4 years, or try it tonight. My note: A vibrant and deeply ripe Pinot with rich aromas of cherries and raspberries. Zesty acidity, silky texture. Full-bodied goodness without the heavy oak. Closed with a screw cap. Food matches: planked salmon, roast turkey, grilled game, mushroom risotto, Camembert.
