Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Mercurey's vineyards reside at an altitude between 230 and 320 metres, and produce wines that are structured and dense with solid mid-term ageing potential. Showing red-fruit jam flavours and vanilla notes, this an elegant and silky Pinot. My note: Gorgeous tart black cherries and cranberries covered in earth (yes, that’s a good thing). Velvet texture and mouth-watering juiciness. This is why I love Burgundian Pinot Noir. Food matches: beef stew, marinated game meat, mature cheeses.
