 | This tasty red is really closer to a classic Meritage blend than a Cabernet. It’s comprised of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot and small amounts of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged for 12 months in a mixture of French and American oak, it over-delivers with rich plum, blackberry and blueberry flavours, as well as notes of tobacco and spice. Smoothly textured and well-balanced, it sings with steak au poivre. |
