Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | To make this hugely popular wine, Moueix sources grapes – mostly Merlot – from several of St-Émilion’s best and most consistent small growers. Expect aromas and flavours of cherry, cedar, chocolate and black pepper. It’s medium bodied, so it should work with a variety of summer-time foods. The 2008 has quickly become an acclaimed and respected vintage. |
