Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: A pretty 2006 Right Bank wonder with aromas of mulberry, sour cherry, cassis and tobacco. Dry and elegant with a ripe fruit centre supported by moderate tannins. A terrific Merlot-based Bordeaux to be enjoyed tonight. Will also reward a couple of years in the cellar too. My note: A robust, full-bodied red that needs cellar time. Black cherries and smoky cedar with terrific balance and structure. Decant 1-2 hours. Food matches: slow-roasted beef, rich lamb stew.
