Tasting note:

One of the most refreshing white wines around is Muscadet. This shows subtle aromas of salty mineral, grapefruit, peach, floral and notes of lees. It is dry and crisp with a medium body on the palate, and its soft citrus fruit flavours lead to a finish that is medium-long, zesty, and minerally. An exuberant wine with fresh, clean notes of lime, lemongrass and herbal refreshment. Perfect as an aperitif or food companion. Food matches: mussels, clams steamed in wine and fresh tarragon, light fish, sashimi.
