Vintages Wine Panel: To even be included in the Guide Hachette a wine must be impressive. On top of this, wines of special note are awarded up to three stars. My note: Savory, generous and delicious! Rich, round and warm with full-bodied goodness. Aromas of blackberries, black and purple plums. Phenomenal quality for the price.

Made from a diverse blend of varietals, this 2006 shows a garnet colour and delivers blackcurrant and sour cherry aromas underlined with some tobacco and toasty notes. Initially open and fresh, the palate reveals elegant substance and well balanced tannins. Drinking well now and for the next two to three next years. Score: HKK Source: Guide Hachette
