Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: 2004 is widely recognized as a classic vintage for the Right Bank. This wine won a Silver Medal at the 2005 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Showing lots of new oak character with attractive vanilla and toast aromas. Dry with toast and red fruit replayed on the palate, balanced acidity and good length. Enjoy it now with grilled pork. My note: A beautifully styled wine with good bones and structure. Enticing notes of cassis, blackcurrant and blackberry wrapped in smoky oak and tobacco leaves. Full-bodied and complex with a long finish. Incredible price for such a good Bordeaux. Food matches: lamb with rosemary or mint, pepper steak, liver.
