Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

2010 vintage. Blend of 50% Cab Sauv, 25% Cab Franc and 25% Merlot brings aromas of cassis, smoke and oak. On the palate, there is more cassis, plus vanilla, oak, and chocolate. Very smooth with well-integrated tannins. Lovely! Tasted June/2012.
Combining Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot is a time-honoured tradition found the world-over. Each Bordelais-styled blend may be modeled on a classic but they are unique as the winemaker who crafted it and the land on which it was grown. Equuleus is no exception. This blend is 50% Cab Sauvignon, 25% Cab Franc and 25% Merlot all grown on the Paul Bosc Estate Vineyard. Specifically, a corner block of this vineyard that surrounds stables that are home to Paul Bosc’s other passion in life, his Egyptian Arabian horses. True to Paul’s exacting standards these vines are cared for with precision using sustainable methods. And when he deems the time to be right, the grapes are hand harvested. Each variety is vinified separately and spends 12 months in French barriques. Once the best barrels are chosen to become Equuleus the blended wine spends another year in bottle “coming of age” before we release it for sale. Chateau des Charmes doesn't make Equuleus every year. To be deemed a worthy vintage each component variety must individually reach 23.5° Brix, which has occurred approximately in half of our recent vintages. They didn’t make Equuleus in 2008 or 2009. The next Equuleus vintage is 2010 but it won’t be ready for several years, likely long after this 2007 is sold out.
