Château De Treviac Arnaud Sié Syrah Grenache 2007
Tasting note:
Vintages Wine Panel: This blend of 80% Syrah and 20%
Grenache has classic Midi aromas of blackberry, pepper and especially garrigue, that unique-to-Midi scent of thyme, rosemary, basil, sage and lemon verbena. There’s a very good balance here
of fruit, acids and tannins. My note: A superb value for this delicious, full-bodied wine. Incredible aromatic depth and length of flavor, with notes of black plums, blackberries, game and smoke. Food matches: roast leg of lamb with an herb-rub, strong cheeses, goat cheese and herb stuffed pork tenderloin, brisket, roast goose.
