Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Gold Medal at the 2011 Concours des Grands Vins de France – Mâcon. Equal parts Syrah, Grenache and Carignan with a touch of Mourvèdre. Aromas suggest blackberry, raspberry, spice cupboard, leather, plum and anise. Dry and quite fruity with moderate tannins bringing balance. Impressive finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
