Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Pic Saint-Loup is one of the Languedoc’s most exciting areas without its own appellation. Still part of the larger Côteaux du Languedoc AC, Pic Saint-Loup is filled with dynamic producers doing wondrous things with old vines Syrah and Grenache. This wine is a prime example. Loaded with black cherry, garrigue and perfectly configured wood tones, this full-bodied, long-finishing wine will reward 2-4 years in a cellar. My note: A brooding, dark wine with black fruit and smoky oak notes. Food matches: braised beef, roast pork dishes.
