A terrific wine for the money! Full-bodied with black fruit and smoke. You won't find Bordeaux at the price-quality ratio often. Decant for 2 hours

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
A prime example of the quality of the 2009 vintage in Bordeaux, this charming Fronsac is made with mostly Merlot and Cab Franc in support. Look for blackberry, plum, anise, spice and cigar smoke aromas. Complex, with smooth tannins around the fruit bringing structure. Decant this wine and enjoy it tonight with grilled lamb chops.
