CedarCreek Estate Winery Pinot Noir Rosé 2011
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | This Rosé is what we like to call an "Acoustic Pinot Noir". After cold-soaking the grapes on skins for 5-7 days, we remove a portion of the juice to make our Rosé. We follow that up with a long, cool fermentation and then bottle a little earlier than most might to really showcase the purity of our estate-grown grapes. This Rosé is a blend of all our estate Pinot Noir blocks - nine in total.
We smell strawberries and we taste more strawberries and a great natural acidity. |
