Tasting note:

Lemon freshness in this unoaked chardonnay that has incredible richness nonetheless. Zesty, balanced, full-bodied yet refreshing. Aging on the less gives the wine its creamy richness, rather than oak. Food matches: baked oysters in a white-wine sauce garnished with watercress.

A very pleasing nose here, with very good fruit aromas accented by a suggestion of candy, plus warm and pleasant lees note. Dry, medium bodied and tasty with very flavourful apple, peach and sweet oak. Everything is kept in line by a balancing backbone of vibrant acidity.
