Tasting note:

Made with a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, which have all been touched by noble rot, Château Septy’s Monbazillac offers aromas of rich peach, pear, honey and apricot. It is a worthy substitute for Sauternes, and a terrific value. My note: An amazing dessert wine. Bursting with apple pie and pear crumbler notes. Food matches: fresh fruit cocktails, blue cheeses.
