Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Silver Medal winner at the 2009 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. This red blend is made primarily from Aragónes (aka Tempranillo). Deep ruby in colour. Aromas of black fruit, ripe plum, dried herbs and raspberry draw you in and replay in the flavours, along with some sweet oak and a hint of pencil lead. A chewy, medium-bodied wine with moderate tannins, and a good juicy length. Lay it down for a few years, or highlight it tonight. My note: Simple, tasty and full-bodied with dark fruit and a smooth texture. Food matches: prime rib, eggplant parmigiana.
