Vintages Wine Panel: This wine plays to Portugal's strength of blending its flavorful indigenous grapes with popular international varieties to create a wine experience that is both unique and familiar. In this case, the local Aragonês and trinicadeira are blended with cabernet sauvignon and syrah. This medium-full-bodied wine features cherries, dried spices, ripe plum and a touch of vanilla. My note: A perky, vibrant red with tart notes of cherries and plum. Food matches: roast leg of lamb.
